About Salty Art

Rachel's journey has always been fueled by creativity, inspired by the natural beauty and community spirit of mid-coast Maine. She moved to Portland in 2013 to study pottery and screen printing at the Maine College of Art.

She went on to launch Green Wave Studios, an art gallery and studio that brought Portland together with live music, art shows, and circus performances. While its physical space was short-lived, Green Wave’s impact continued through nonprofit events connecting Maine communities with art, music, and craft.

With experiences spanning from administration, education, marketing, and the arts, Rachel took on the role of Head of Media & Design at Coastal Remedies in 2022, where she honed her expertise in branding, media, and storytelling.
